UNT Self-Service Audit

The UNT Self-Service Audit (SSA) lets you check whether your Riot account has appeared in results from the rewind.lol Username Lookup Tool (UNT), and which tournament organization looked it up.

Open the audit at rewind.lol/untselfserviceaudit.html.

What Is the Username Lookup Tool?

  1. The Username Lookup Tool (also called the username history search) finds accounts that have ever used a particular name, past or present. For example, it can show an account’s previous names, or the current name of an account that used to have a certain name.
  2. It is only available to registered tournament organizations through the Tournament API. It is not available to the public.
  3. Tournament organizations may only use it for competitive integrity, such as investigating tournament participants for account sharing, smurfing, or ban evasion, or for testing the tool. Uses such as stalking, harassment, or doxxing are forbidden and result in access termination. See the Username Search Addendum in the Tournament API documentation for the full rules.
  4. Every search is logged, including the tournament organization that performed it. The Self-Service Audit shows you the part of that log that concerns your account.

Checking Your Account

  1. Go to rewind.lol/untselfserviceaudit.html.
  2. Press Sign in with Riot Games and sign in with the Riot account you want to check.
    • You do not need a rewind.lol account.
    • You can only check an account you can sign in to. To check several accounts, repeat the audit once for each account.
  3. After signing in, you are sent back to rewind.lol and your results are shown.

Reading Your Results

  1. The results show the Riot ID you signed in with and a table of every time your account appeared in a username search result:
    • Date and Time: when the tournament organization viewed the result, shown in your device’s time zone
    • Tournament Organization: the name of the organization that performed the search. If the organization can no longer be identified, it is shown as “Unknown Organization”.
  2. Results are listed newest first, up to the 500 most recent.
  3. If your account has never appeared in a search result, you will see “No Username Lookup Tool hits found”.
  4. Your account appears in a result if it was a match for the searched name, either because it currently has that name or because it used that name in the past. You may appear in a search that was meant for someone else who used the same name.
  5. A tournament organization can view the same search result more than once. Each view is listed separately, so one search can appear as several rows with nearby times.

The 90-Day Delay

Searches from the last 90 days are not shown. Only searches that are at least 90 days old appear in your results. This gives tournament organizations time to complete an ongoing investigation before the player being investigated can see it. Check again later to see more recent searches once they pass 90 days.

Privacy

  1. The Riot sign-in is only used to get your account’s ID and confirm that you own the account you’re checking. Your Riot password is entered on Riot Games’ own sign-in page and is never seen by rewind.lol.
  2. Signing in to the audit does not create a rewind.lol account, and does not add your account to the processing queue.
  3. Your results are only available for 5 minutes after signing in. After that, you must sign in again to see them.

Troubleshooting

  1. “Something went wrong verifying your sign-in request”: the sign-in took longer than 10 minutes or was started in another browser tab or window. Press Try Again and complete the sign-in without delay, in the same browser.
  2. “We couldn’t confirm your Riot account”: Riot Games’ sign-in did not complete. Press Try Again. If it keeps happening, check status.rewind.lol for outages.
  3. “Your session expired or is invalid”: more than 5 minutes passed since you signed in, or your browser blocked the site’s cookies. Sign in again, and allow cookies for rewind.lol.
  4. A search you expected is missing: it may be less than 90 days old. See The 90-Day Delay.

Reporting Misuse

If you believe a Tournament Organization searched your account for a reason other than competitive integrity, contact us via the method described in the Privacy Policy. Include your Riot ID, date, and organization name shown in the results.
